Description:
Innovative Aerosystems is seeking a detail-oriented Harness Builder to support the assembly of high-quality wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and electrical systems used in advanced aerospace and defense applications. This position offers the opportunity to work with precision components in a quality-focused manufacturing environment alongside a skilled and collaborative team. Responsibilities Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, work instructions, and Bills of Material (BOMs) Assemble wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and related electrical components Perform wire stripping, crimping, routing, termination, and lacing in accordance with
IPC/WHMA-A-620
standards Inspect assemblies to ensure compliance with quality requirements Set up and operate automated assembly equipment Utilize manual and powered hand tools safely and effectively Maintain accurate production and quality documentation Support continuous improvement and manufacturing efficiency initiatives
Requirements:
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Experience in harness assembly, cable assembly, electronics manufacturing, or a related field preferred Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work Excellent organizational and communication skills Experience working in a quality-controlled manufacturing environment preferred Ability to use manual and powered hand tools Preferred Qualifications Experience in the aerospace, aircraft avionics, defense, or electronics manufacturing industries
