Overview As an Electromechanical Technician at SMARTqube, you will be an integral part of our manufacturing/test team, focused on the precise assembly of electrical components to contribute to the production of cutting-edge motor controls, communications equipment, analytical equipment, and more. The role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to producing high-quality electrical and mechanical assemblies. Essential Functions Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions to accurately assemble low voltage control panels. Perform wiring, soldering, and crimping of connections, ensuring compliance with design specifications and quality standards. Utilize hand tools, soldering irons, and other equipment to assemble and test electrical components. Conduct functional tests on assembled products to identify and address any issues, working closely with the quality control team. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot and resolve assembly challenges. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper storage and handling of electrical components. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure working environment. Job Qualifications Associate degree or trade school degree. Experience in wiring. Proven experience as an Integration Technician in a manufacturing or production setting. Familiarity with electrical components, circuits, and assembly techniques. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics accurately. Proficient in using basic hand tools and other assembly equipment. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Team player with good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively. Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines. Basic knowledge of UL508A a plus. Work Environment Manufacturing environment Standing, bending, squatting, lifting, stretching Use of tools, machinery, loud noises, and equipment Carrying up to 50lbs
