Full-Time Position Summary Pendu Manufacturing LLC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Panel Builder to assemble, wire, test, and troubleshoot electrical control panels for industrial machinery. This position plays a vital role in producing reliable, high-quality equipment that meets customer specifications and industry standards. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, can accurately interpret electrical schematics, and takes pride in building clean, organized control panels that reflect exceptional craftsmanship. Essential Responsibilities Assemble electrical control panels from engineering drawings and electrical schematics.
Mount electrical components including:
PLCs Relays Contactors Motor starters VFDs Circuit breakers Terminal blocks Power supplies Safety devices Route and terminate wires using proper wire management practices. Label wiring and components according to engineering standards.
Read and interpret:
Electrical schematics Wiring diagrams Bills of Material (BOM) Panel layouts Perform continuity, insulation, and functional testing. Troubleshoot wiring and component issues prior to shipment. Assist Engineering with prototype builds and design improvements. Maintain a clean, organized work area. Follow OSHA safety standards and company procedures. Work closely with Engineering, Purchasing, and Production to ensure projects remain on schedule. Qualifications Required High School Diploma or GED Ability to read electrical schematics Experience using electrical hand tools Ability to accurately terminate and label wiring Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Excellent attention to detail Preferred Technical school or Associate Degree in Electrical Technology Experience with: Allen-Bradley Siemens Automation Direct 3+ years of industrial electrical panel building Knowledge of NFPA 79 Knowledge of UL 508A standards Industrial machine wiring experience Forklift certification Knowledge & Skills Successful candidates will demonstrate: Excellent workmanship Strong troubleshooting ability Ability to work independently Excellent organizational skills Good communication Pride in producing neat, professional electrical panels Continuous improvement mindset Working Conditions Manufacturing environment Standing for extended periods Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds Frequent use of power and hand tools Overtime may be required based on production schedules Why Join Pendu?
