Technical training in electrical assembly, industrial maintenance, manufacturing technology, or a related field is a plus. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and assembly documentation. Experience Requirements Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in electrical, mechanical, industrial equipment, machinery, or machine assembly. Experience assembling complex equipment, machinery, or production systems. Experience using hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and material handling equipment. Experience with equipment startup, testing, troubleshooting, repair, or rebuild activities preferred. Preferred Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Basic understanding of electrical and electronic systems. Ability to identify assembly, design, or equipment issues and recommend solutions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments. Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification. Ability to provide and maintain personal hand tools. Willingness to work overtime as business needs require. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physical assembly tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift, position, and install mechanical and electrical components. Capable of safely operating forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material-handling equipment. Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment while following all safety requirements. Manual dexterity required for assembly, alignment, and installation of components and systems. Job Duties Assemble and install mechanical and electrical components, equipment, and subassemblies according to engineering specifications and production requirements. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions to ensure accurate assembly. Perform precision assembly tasks including component layout, alignment, positioning, drive systems, chains, belts, gears, and related equipment. Assist with equipment startup, testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and rebuild projects. Operate forklifts, powered industrial trucks, overhead cranes, and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently. Inspect completed assemblies to verify quality, functionality, and compliance with specifications. Identify and communicate equipment, tooling, maintenance, safety, or assembly concerns. Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Production, and Field Service teams to meet quality and production goals.
