Job Description

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Electric Assembly - Soldering in the Cranston, RI area. Hand soldering and rework of electronic components in printed circuit boards
Responsibilities:
Read and follow standard Assembly Process Instructions (APIs) Solder SMT and through-hole components Use hand and power tools such as soldering irons, cutters, pliers, and scopes Perform intermediate hand assembly/soldering operations Installation of surface mount components (Skill hand soldering) Identify and apply very small components in very small spaces without damaging adjacent parts Keep work environment clean, safe and orderly Perform other duties as assigned
Desired Background/Skills:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Previous soldering experience preferred IPC Certification preferred, but not required Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment preferred, but not required Must be able to read instructions in English Must be able to work under microscope for long periods of time
