Job Description

Our client in the Cranston, RI, area is seeking an experienced PCB Rework Technician to join a growing electronics manufacturing team.
Responsibilities:
Perform hand soldering and rework on printed circuit boards (PCBs). Install and replace surface mount (SMT) and through-hole electronic components. Read and follow Assembly Process Instructions (APIs), work instructions, and assembly drawings. Use soldering irons, microscopes, hand tools, and other assembly equipment safely and effectively. Work with small and delicate electronic components while avoiding damage to surrounding parts. Inspect completed work to ensure quality and workmanship standards are met. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Support additional manufacturing and assembly tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED. Previous hand soldering experience on printed circuit boards (PCBs). Experience soldering SMT and/or through-hole components. Previous experience in an electronics manufacturing or assembly environment. Ability to read and follow written work instructions in English. Ability to work under a microscope for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity. Pay $22 - $26 / hour depending on experience #INDEng
