Job Description

Role and Responsibilities This position is responsible for the effective utilization of materials, equipment, and systems in the assembly of moderately complex to very complex products and/or electrical wiring. Performs electrical wiring assembly on medium to large sized parts or panels. Performs final assembly of wiring and panels to Switchboard unit.
  • Read and understand moderately complex to very complex wiring diagrams, bill of materials, kit sheets, front elevation and one line.
  • Reports issues through entering Andon's in LDS (Lean Digitization System). Enter wiring terminations through OPS app.
  • Assembles very small to large parts and performs wiring assembly.
  • Utilizes a wide variety of hand tools, air tools, and measuring equipment.
  • When discrepancies occur between the bill of materials and drawings, enter Andon in LDS to Team Lead/Engineer.
  • Performs entire wiring assembly operation of one job (from pre-arranged kit) from start to finish.
  • Responsible for own product quality, proper measuring techniques, and tool use and care.
  • Evaluates and performs basic to moderately complex troubleshooting, and obtains support from supervision, and engineering as needed.
  • Establishes a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Maintains all certifications for group(s) and completes all required training.
  • Performs other duties as required and often in other groups. What's in it for me?

For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $21.00 - $24.00 per hour. In addition, this position is eligible for overtime pay and may also include premium pay or differentials, depending on location.
