division is currently seeking a MVA LL Fronts, Technician II - 1st Shift. The rate for this position is $20.00 per hour. The core hours are Monday through Thursday from 7:30 am - 3:30 pm. This position is eligible for a variable incentive program. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you'll do: The Assembly Technician assembles, wires, fits, and modifies components used in the manufacture of medium and high‑voltage indoor and outdoor assemblies, including breaker and auxiliary compartments, breakers, power modules, customer service orders, and related sub‑assemblies. Work from manufacturing information, electrical and mechanical drawings, sketches, established procedures, and written or verbal instructions from supervisors or engineering; read and interpret mechanical drawings as required. Mount and install electrical and mechanical equipment, including mimic bus, painting floors, covers, and related components as needed. Receive, pick, label, pack, and prepare materials and assemblies for shipment. Operate forklifts and/or cranes as required.

Maintain minimum Kanban inventory levels and report material shortages to appropriate personnel. Inspect assemblies for loose or missing hardware and overall cleanliness. Respond to engineering change notices, customer-requested modifications, and product development needs. Qualifications:

Basic:

High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution. Skilled in the safe and efficient use of hand tools and pneumatic (air) tools. Eaton does not provide immigration sponsorship or support for this position. Only candidates within a 50‑mile radius of Greenwood, SC will be considered. Active‑Duty Military Service members are exempt from this geographical requirement.

Preferred:

1 year of industrial manufacturing experience South Carolina Manufacturing Certification (SCMC) or equivalent

Strong verbal and written communication, persuasive abilities, and analytical problem‑solving skills. Ability to work effectively with individuals and teams in a collaborative environment. Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as business needs require. Ability to safely use hand and power tools, step ladders, and cranes to assemble products and verify quality in a Lean environment. Proficiency with standard computer applications (Microsoft Outlook and Teams) and job‑specific systems such as ENOVIA. Physical Demands Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, reach at or above shoulder level, grip, and use hands for handling and feeling. Frequently required to stoop, lift, carry, push, and pull. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and push/pull 50 lbs. or more with or without accommodation Vision requirements include near and far vision, depth perception, and color discrimination.
