Job Description

ES AMER ARS PDCAD
division is currently seeking a MVA LL, Technician II - 2nd Shift. The hourly rate for this position is $20.00 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential. The core hours are Monday through Thursday from 3:30 pm until 1:30 am. This position is eligible for a variable incentive program. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. ## What you'll do: In the Assembly Technician position, you will assemble, wire, and modify components in accordance with established guidelines for manufacturing medium- and high‑voltage indoor and outdoor assemblies. This includes breaker and auxiliary compartments, breakers, customer service orders, power modules, and associated sub‑assemblies.Responsibilities include:
- Work from manufacturing information, electrical and mechanical drawings, sketches, and written or verbal instructions from supervisors or team leads, following established procedures.
- Complete ISO checklists, quality checklists, customer checklists, feedback forms, and production lists as required for supervision, drafting, customer service, and engineering.
- Mount and install electrical equipment and perform wiring operations as needed.
- Regularly lift, handle, and assemble components that include heavy copper parts.
- Report material shortages to the appropriate Kanban inventory operators.
- Inspect all assemblies to ensure hardware is secure, components are complete, and products meet cleanliness standards.
- Respond to change notices, customer‑requested adjustments, and development needs.
- Support engineering, drafting, and supervision with customer‑driven development activities.
- Effectively train and coach colleagues to support knowledge sharing and skill development.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Basic:
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- Skilled in the safe and efficient use of hand tools and pneumatic (air) tools.

Preferred:
- 1 year of industrial manufacturing experience
- South Carolina Manufacturing Certification (SCMC) or equivalent
Position Criteria:
- Strong verbal and written communication, persuasive abilities, and analytical problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals and teams in a collaborative environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as business needs require.
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools, step ladders, and cranes to assemble products and verify quality in a Lean environment.
- Proficiency with standard computer applications (Microsoft Outlook and Teams) and job‑specific systems such as ENOVIA. Physical Demands
- Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, reach at or above shoulder level, grip, and use hands for handling and feeling.
- Frequently required to stoop, lift, carry, push, and pull.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., and push/pull 50 lbs. or more with or without accommodation
- Vision requirements include near and far vision, depth perception, and color discrimination. Work Environment
