Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Assembler to join our manufacturing team, responsible for constructing, wiring, and testing electro-mechanical components and assemblies. This role involves interpreting electrical schematics, following blueprint specifications, and utilizing various hand tools and soldering techniques to ensure precise assembly of electronic and mechanical parts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electronics assembly, surface mount technology, and electrical panel building, contributing to the production of high-quality products that meet rigorous industry standards. Responsibilities Assemble electronic components on printed circuit boards (PCBs) using surface mount technology and through-hole techniques, adhering strictly to schematics and blueprint specifications. Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints accurately to guide assembly processes. Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, and soldering irons to assemble and wire electrical panels and electro-mechanical components. Perform soldering tasks following IPC 610 standards to ensure reliable electrical connections. Build electrical wiring harnesses and panels according to detailed wiring diagrams and engineering instructions. Conduct testing of assembled units using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to verify electrical continuity and functionality. Assist in troubleshooting assembly issues by analyzing schematics and applying engineering troubleshooting techniques. Maintain a clean, organized work area while following safety protocols related to electrical assembly. Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements for efficiency and quality. Experience Proven experience in electronics assembly, including PCB soldering, surface mount technology, and electrical wiring. Familiarity with reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and engineering drawings. Knowledge of electrical panel building, wiring methods, and schematic interpretation. Hands-on experience with hand tools, soldering equipment, and testing instruments such as ohmmeters. Understanding of IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies is highly desirable. Previous involvement in manufacturing environments with electro-mechanical components is preferred. Ability to troubleshoot issues related to electrical assemblies using schematic diagrams and engineering principles.
