Job Summary:
Detail-oriented and skilled Electronic Assembler to join our team. The successful candidate will assemble, test, and repair electronic components and systems. This role requires precision, technical expertise, and a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
Assembly and Testing:
Assemble electronic components, PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards), and systems according to blueprints, schematics, and work instructions. Perform functional testing of assembled electronics to ensure they meet quality and performance standards.
Inspection and Quality Control:
Inspect and verify the quality of components and finished products. Identify and troubleshoot defects or issues during the assembly process. Maintain accurate records of assembly and testing processes, including deviations from standard procedures.
Soldering and Wiring:
Solder electronic components to PCBs with precision and accuracy. Perform wire harness assembly and crimping as required.
Equipment and Tool Maintenance:
Operate and maintain assembly equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition. Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
Compliance and Safety:
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Follow company policies and procedures, including ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) guidelines.
Continuous Improvement:
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance assembly processes and product quality. Provide feedback and suggestions to improve efficiency and effectiveness in the assembly process.
Experience:
Proven experience in electronic assembly, soldering, and testing. Familiarity with reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Skills:
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Basic understanding of electronic components and circuitry. Proficiency in using hand tools and soldering equipment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. Good vision, including color vision, to distinguish component markings and colors. Ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds.
