The Device Support Engineer is responsible for researching and creating software algorithms that support devices with Non-Volatile memories. They are also responsible for designing and releasing adapter boards to program these devices. In this position, you will interact with leading semiconductor manufacturers and their semiconductor devices. You will stay abreast of the latest technologies being used in the industry and the means by which they are programmed. Electro-Mechanical Light AssemblerJob Summary The Electro-Mechanical Light Assembler is responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing mechanical and electrical components and subassemblies according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards. This position requires attention to detail, basic mechanical and electrical skills, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a manufacturing environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assemble electro-mechanical components, parts, and subassemblies using hand and power tools. Read and interpret basic mechanical drawings, assembly instructions, wiring diagrams, and bills of materials. Install electrical components such as wires, connectors, switches, sensors, terminals, and circuit components. Perform basic mechanical assembly, including fastening, fitting, drilling, and hardware installation. Route, cut, strip, crimp, and terminate wires as required. Perform basic electrical and mechanical testing to verify proper assembly and operation. Inspect completed assemblies for workmanship, accuracy, and compliance with specifications. Identify and report defective parts, assembly issues, or quality concerns. Use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and basic electrical test equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all safety procedures, quality requirements, and standard work instructions. Meet production schedules while maintaining quality standards. Assist with troubleshooting and rework of assemblies when necessary. Maintain accurate production and inspection records. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous manufacturing, assembly, electrical, or mechanical experience preferred. Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical components. Ability to read basic drawings, diagrams, and work instructions. Ability to use common hand and power tools. Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Basic computer skills preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to frequently use hands and fingers for assembly tasks. Ability to lift and move materials and components as required. Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and work in various positions. Ability to safely use hand and power tools. Work Environment Manufacturing/assembly environment. May involve exposure to moderate noise, machinery, tools, and production equipment. Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as required. Must follow company safety, quality, and housekeeping procedures.
