$22 per hour. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Electrical Wireman to assemble, wire, and test industrial control panels and electrical systems in a manufacturing environment. This role requires the ability to read electrical schematics, perform accurate wiring and terminations, and ensure all assemblies meet quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Assemble and wire industrial control panels from electrical drawings and work instructions. Install electrical components including breakers, relays, transformers, PLCs, terminal blocks, and power supplies. Cut, strip, crimp, label, route, and terminate wires and cables. Perform point-to-point checks, continuity testing, and basic troubleshooting. Maintain accurate production and quality documentation. Identify and report wiring, material, or drawing discrepancies. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area. Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications Required:
High School Diploma or GED. 3+ years of experience in electrical panel wiring, controls assembly, or industrial electrical manufacturing. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Experience using hand tools, wire crimpers, meters, and measuring devices. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Preferred:
5+ years of panel building or industrial controls experience. Knowledge of PLC systems, VFDs, power distribution equipment, or UL 508A standards. Experience with electrical testing and troubleshooting. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive hand movements throughout the shift. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment while wearing required PPE.
