Responsibilities Assist with loading, securing, and unloading medical supplies using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or carts. Drive a box truck or van along designated routes, adhering strictly to traffic laws and safety protocols. Support the primary driver in route navigation, delivery, and customer interactions to ensure prompt service. Handle manual transmission vehicles with skill, maintaining safe driving practices at all times. Ensure proper documentation of deliveries using mobile devices or electronic logging systems, including delivery receipts and route logs. Follow all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations related to weight handling, hours of service, and vehicle safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance checks on the vehicle to ensure operational safety and compliance. Experience Previous experience in delivery driving or courier services is preferred, especially within healthcare or warehouse environments. Familiarity with warehouse operations, including material handling equipment operation such as pallet jacks or carts. Experience with heavy lifting and manual handling practices required for loading/unloading cargo safely. Knowledge of commercial driving regulations, including DOT standards for weight limits and hours of service. Demonstrated ability to operate a box truck or van with manual transmission is highly desirable. Customer service experience that emphasizes professionalism, punctuality, and clear communication during deliveries.
