$16 - $24/hour (Based on experience/ Interview required) Position Summary We are seeking detail-oriented Custom Cable/Wiring Assemblers to manufacture copper cable assemblies, wire harnesses, and other custom connectivity products. This position requires good hand dexterity, accuracy, and the ability to follow detailed work instructions and customer specifications. Responsibilities Measure, cut, strip, crimp, and terminate wires and cables. Assemble connectors, terminals, plugs, and custom wiring harnesses. Read and follow work orders, diagrams, drawings, and assembly instructions. Use hand tools, crimpers, wire strippers, cutters, and other production equipment. Apply labels and organize completed assemblies according to specifications. Inspect finished products for correct measurements, wiring, and workmanship. Perform basic continuity or functional testing when trained. Document completed work and maintain product traceability. Identify defects and report quality concerns to the supervisor. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation. Meet daily production and quality expectations. Qualifications Previous cable assembly, wiring, electronics assembly, or manufacturing experience is preferred. Experience with wire stripping, crimping, soldering, or connector assembly is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise, repetitive work. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to distinguish wire colors, measurements, labels, and small components. Comfortable working with small parts and hand tools. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Dependable attendance and willingness to learn. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Work Environment This is a hands-on production role in a quality-focused manufacturing facility. Assemblers may sit or stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hand movements. Every assembly must meet specific quality, testing, serialization, and traceability standards.
