Precision Electromechanical Build Technician (Cleanroom) PDS Tech - 3.9 Richardson, TX Job Details Full-time $20 - $22 an hour 19 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Build the tools that test tomorrow's technology At PDS Tech Commercial, we've joined forces with a top electromechanical manufacturer in Richardson to grow a high-impact team of cleanroom and mechanical assemblers.
Picture this:
you arrive at 5:00 AM, suit up, and spend the day crafting intricate test fixtures that keep complex systems reliable. Do it Friday through Sunday—36 hours total—and be paid for 40. Then enjoy a three-day weekend, every week. How you'll contribute Your work turns engineering intent into reality. You'll translate drawings and schematics into robust assemblies—wiring, fastening, cleaning, and verifying each step to deliver dependable test equipment. Build electro-mechanical test fixtures and multiple test equipment formats Interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and customer requirements Wire control panels and rack-mount enclosures, routing conductors neatly and safely Cut, strip, twist, tin, and solder wires with consistent technique Attach wires, cables, resistors, capacitors, and other components to PCBs, connectors, and assemblies Clean parts; hand-place components during assembly operations Enforce rigorous quality checks at each production stage What success looks like You collaborate naturally and elevate team output You learn fast and adapt to new processes and tools Your builds are tidy, accurate, and repeatable Digital work instructions and computer-based tasks feel second nature Pay and shifts
Pay:
$19/hr (mechanical) and $20/hr (cleanroom) Weekend shift: Fri-Sun, 5:00 AM-5:00 PM (36 hours worked, paid for 40) Additional options (Mon-Thu): 5:00 AM-3:30 PM — $20.00/hour 4:00 PM-2:30 AM — $22.00/hour Qualifications 6+ months of electrical assembly experience High School Diploma or Equivalent required; a copy must be provided for verification Comfort standing, handling materials, and performing repetitive tasks in a manufacturing setting Core proficiencies Electrical Schematics Electrical / Electronic Systems Grow with us Learn while you earn through comprehensive training Thrive in a supportive, team-driven culture Build a specialty in cleanroom or mechanical assembly—your choice Legal notice Background checks, including criminal history verification, and drug screening will be conducted as part of the hiring process.
