Summary:
: We are looking for an ambitious person to fill a Manufacturing Technician position in our Clean Room and Manufacturing Operations in Austin, TX. This person will perform a variety of tasks, including electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies. Job Duties Read and follow instructions dictated in OMS and/or assembly drawings Position, align and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly Assemble parts or units, and position, align and fasten units to assemblies, subassemblies or frames, using hand tools and power tools Connect cables, tubes, and wiring, according to specifications. Read assembly drawings and specifications to determine component parts and assemble sequences of electromechanical units Package and/or pack assemblies per clean room protocols. File, lap, and buff parts and subassemblies using grease paddles or oilcans. Work in a clean room environment and follow clean room guidelines Follows and provides feedback on assembly instructions and/or blueprints to install items such as; hardware, wiring harnesses, panels, components, sub-assemblies, etc. Attach name plates and mark identifying information on parts Operate small cranes to transport or position large parts. Follow standard workmanship practices for electro-mechanical assembly.Experience:
Must have 2+ years experience as an Assembler/Manufacturing Technician 2 years of cleanroom experience is a PLUS Must have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills Must be able to lift 50 pounds Must be able to verbally communicate Must be able to observer and hear warning signs and signals within all areas of the company. Must have experience working with hand tool- Tweezers, micrometers, Calipers, etc.
