Job Purpose:
The Electronic Assembler will build Circuit Card Assemblies using Bill of Material, Drawing and Work Instructions.
Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:
Be able to hand solder components sizes down to 0201 packages. Ability read and understand all documents… drawings, BOM's Work Instructions Follow/ Knowledge of the Procedure and Documentations. Ability to Read and understand All Instructions to Assemble. Be able To use All Hand Tools, Solder Station, Electric Screwdrivers, and Torque Screw drivers, Wire Strippers, Pliers. Must be willing to work overtime as needed. Must have the ability to assemble products or sub-assemblies according to verbal or written instructions, or by following drawings or diagrams. Capable but not limited to repair damaged circuits, lands, surface mount pads, It includes defects in the base board and mask surface. Must have Micro scope soldering and component rework skills and exposure to most repair/rework processes. We require a high degree of quality workmanship. Qualified candidates must have experience in working in a fast pace, turn around dept. Capable of walking 200 feet several times a day to wash circuit cards Lift 25 lbs or more several times a day.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent. Knowledge of IPC 610, J-Standards and ESD/FOD. Currently Certified in IPC or have been Certified in the past three years. 5 Years Experience of Electronics Assembly In Manufacturing. Must be familiar with Surface-Mount Technology (SMT) electronic components and SMT assembly process. Must know the different package types of electronic components. Willing to work overtime as needed. This is an ITAR facility and applicants must be a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident.
