E-House Builder Quality Electrical Systems - 3.4 West Jordan, UT Job Details Full-time 10 hours ago Qualifications Mechanical blueprint interpretation Blueprint specification interpretation Electrical schematic reading and interpretation High school diploma or GED Electrical safety procedures Manufacturing facility experience Manufacturing company experience Cross-functional communication Full Job Description Overview We are currently hiring for a Manufacturing Technician to support the assembly, wiring, and inspection of E-Houses—large modular electrical structures built to the highest standards of safety, quality, and durability. This hands-on role works closely with engineering and quality teams in a fast-paced production environment. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Assemble structural components and enclosures according to engineering drawings Wire and install equipment such as switchgear, control panels, and transformers Perform quality inspections, basic testing, and troubleshooting during builds Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and layout diagrams Operate tools and machinery such as saws, drills, welders, and fabrication equipment Coordinate with engineering and QC teams to resolve technical or layout issues Keep work area clean and compliant with all safety protocols Document material usage, production time, and inspection records Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and boost efficiency ________________________________________
Knowledge and Experience Requirements Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Experience in manufacturing or electrical assembly Proficient in using hand and power tools Ability to read schematics and technical drawings Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Knowledge of OSHA standards and safe work practices Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience building modular structures or a relevant field Familiarity with industrial electrical systems and components Exposure to lean manufacturing or 5S principles Knowledge of industry codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE)
Physical Requirements:
