This role requires a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined individual with a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to interpret schematics. The position plays a critical role in ensuring high-quality production within a manufacturing environment. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Interpret and work from electrical schematics, engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and bills of materials Assemble and wire control panels according to specifications and quality standards Cut, strip, crimp, and wire gauges ranging from 26 AWG to 12 AWG Mount electrical components including relays, switches, terminal blocks, and circuit breakers Fabricate and modify control panel enclosures using hand and power tools Apply proper torque using appropriate tools to secure all components Perform rework or corrections as directed by the Quality Control (QC) Technician Conduct basic QC testing of panels to verify functionality and compliance with design requirements ________________________________________ Knowledge and Experience Requirements Basic to advanced knowledge of electrical systems and components Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and engineering documentation Mechanical aptitude and assembly experience in a shop, warehouse, or manufacturing setting Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards Excellent organizational and communication skills
Preferred:
Previous experience in electrical panel building, wiring, or assembly Background in HVAC systems or industrial automation Familiarity with lean manufacturing or 5S practices ________________________________________ Core Competencies and Skills Electrical assembly and wiring proficiency Attention to detail and quality focus Mechanical aptitude Safety awareness and compliance Problemsolving and troubleshooting Organization and time management Communication and teamwork
