This position is based at our Mt. Crawford, VA facility. Position Summary Power Monitors, Inc. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronics Assembler to join our production team. This role is responsible for assembling electronic components, sub-assemblies, and finished products in accordance with detailed work instructions and quality standards. The ideal candidate brings strong manual dexterity, experience in electronics assembly, and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret work orders, assembly instructions, schematics, and verbal directions Place and align electronic components (resistors, sockets, connectors, etc.) on printed circuit boards (PCBs) Crimp, screw, bolt, rivet, solder, and secure components using hand and power tools Route and solder wires and harnesses to circuit boards and other components Perform wire stripping, tinning, bonding, drilling, curing, and cleaning tasks Operate assembly equipment and related machinery safely and efficiently Install completed assemblies into enclosures and attach required hardware Conduct quality inspections using magnification tools, measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment Identify and report defects, discrepancies, or process issues to a supervisor Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused workspace
Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of two (2) years of electronics assembly or related experience Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain high accuracy standards
Preferred:
