Job Description

Job Title:
Electrical Assembly Technician About the Role We are seeking a skilled Electrical Assembly Technician to support the complete mechanical and electrical build of our systems from start to finish. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with strong electro‑mechanical aptitude who enjoys both detailed, repetitive work and more complex, high-level assemblies. You'll work from schematics and wiring diagrams to assemble, wire, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment and control panels. This position requires comfort using computers for documentation, data entry, and basic Excel tasks, along with the ability to collaborate across teams in a fast‑growing manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Assemble electrical and mechanical units using hand and power tools Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and service manuals Layout and build control panels (PLCs, drives, and related components — no programming required) Assemble conveyors, install motors, and build panel boards Install wiring, electrical components, and control panels Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical components Support general facility needs as required, including warehouse and packaging assistance Required Qualifications Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude Ability to read and understand schematics and blueprints Minimum 2 years of experience in electro‑mechanical assembly Hands-on experience with basic tools, wiring, and mechanical assembly Comfortable using computers for data entry and basic software applications Preferred Skills & Experience Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical fundamentals Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical components Exposure to automation systems, gears, drives, and pneumatic systems Familiarity with manufacturing or industrial equipment environments Why Join Us? 7:00 AM - 4:00
PM, Monday-Friday Lunch:
One-hour lunch break

Climate-controlled, newer building located on Easport Boulevard Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits available for this temporary role may include the following:
