  • Job Title: Assembler
  • Job Description
  • The Assembler supports the full assembly and sub-assembly of conveyor systems in a clean, climate-controlled production environment.

You work as part of a small team, using hand and power tools to perform mechanical and electrical assembly from start to finish. This is a three-week project with the potential for extension and possible direct hire for high-performing candidates. The role requires comfort with standing for 8-10 hours per day and a strong commitment to reliability and teamwork.

  • Responsibilities
  • + Perform assembly and sub-assembly of conveyor systems from start to finish as part of a production team.

+ Use a variety of hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during mechanical and electrical assembly tasks.

+ Carry out mechanical assembly work on conveyor components, ensuring proper fit and function.

+ Assist with electrical assembly tasks as directed, following established procedures and safety guidelines.

+ Work on an assembly line or in a general production setting to meet daily and project-based output goals.

+ Conduct basic inspection of assembled components to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.

+ Use measuring tools such as tape measures accurately to verify dimensions and alignment.

+ Follow all work instructions and training provided on the floor by supervisory staff.

+ Maintain a clean and organized work area in the new, climate-controlled facility.

+ Stand for 8-10 hours per day and perform repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining focus and productivity.

+ Collaborate effectively with a small team, supporting a positive and respectful work culture.

+ Arrive on time and work consistently during scheduled hours from Monday to Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  • Essential Skills
  • + At least 6 months of assembly or manufacturing experience in a production environment.

+ Experience using hand tools for assembly and general production tasks.

+ Experience using power tools safely in an assembly or manufacturing setting.

+ Experience in general production or assembly line work.

+ Ability to perform mechanical assembly tasks with attention to detail.

+ Basic familiarity with electrical assembly work.

+ Ability to use a tape measure and other basic measuring tools accurately.

+ Capability to stand for 8-10 hours per day and perform repetitive tasks.

+ Strong reliability and consistent attendance.

+ Ability to work well within a small team and follow on-the-floor guidance from supervisors.

  • Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • + Prior experience with conveyor system assembly is a plus but not required.

+ Comfort working in a laid-back, small-team environment where collaboration is important.

+ Willingness to learn new assembly techniques through hands-on training.

+ Strong character and team fit, including respectfulness, dependability, and a positive attitude.

+ Openness to project-based work with the potential for extension or direct hire based on performance.

+ Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain an organized work area.

  • This role is based in a new, clean, and organized production facility that is fully climate controlled.

You work Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with no overtime required, providing a consistent daytime schedule. The environment is laid back and team-oriented, with a small group of coworkers and a supervisor present on the floor providing hands-on training and support. Work is performed on or near an assembly line using hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools such as tape measures. The position involves standing for 8-10 hours per day and performing repetitive assembly tasks in a well-maintained, comfortable setting.

  • This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beloit, WI.
  • Pay and Benefits
  • The pay range for this position is $22.

00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
