Product Assembler Job Description The Product Assembler works on a new production line with multiple stations, assembling components, securing them with power tools, and performing final testing and packaging of finished products. This role involves hands-on mechanical and light electrical assembly, consistent use of drills or torque wrenches, and adherence to quality standards in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Work on a multi-station production line, completing 23 defined steps of the assembly process at an assigned station. Assemble components by fitting and securing parts according to work instructions, blueprints, or schematics. Use drills and torque wrenches to secure parts accurately and safely, following torque specifications where applicable. Perform electrical assembly tasks such as wiring, crimping, and soldering when required by the stations process. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure proper assembly sequence and component placement. Operate at the final testing station by connecting completed assemblies to test equipment for go/no-go testing. Identify and separate nonconforming or failed assemblies and follow established procedures for rework or escalation. Package and palletize completed products after they pass testing, ensuring proper labeling and secure packaging. Use an iPad or similar device to navigate work instructions, record production data, and track completed tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety and quality guidelines throughout the shift. Stand and work on the production line for 810 hours per day while safely handling parts up to 20 pounds. Essential Skills At least 1 year of assembly experience in a manufacturing or similar environment. At least 1 year of experience using a drill or torque wrench in an assembly or production setting. Ability to read and follow basic work instructions, with exposure to blueprints or schematics. Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hand tools and power tools. Ability to stand for 810 hours per day and safely lift and handle items up to 20 pounds. Ability to navigate and use an iPad or similar tablet for work instructions and data entry. Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, accurate assemblies. Reliability and consistency in attendance, punctuality, and following established procedures. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with electrical assembly, including wiring, crimping, and soldering. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints. Previous experience working on a multi-station production line. Comfort working in a structured, process-driven environment with defined station tasks. Strong teamwork skills and willingness to rotate between stations as needed. Basic understanding of go/no-go testing processes and quality checks. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
