Assembly Responsibilities:
- Read and follow work order instructions
- Use pallet jack to move pallets of product to different locations
- Use automatic saws to cut tubing and pipes, hosing-chop saws, and manual saws
- Read blueprints for cutting and building the parts
- Take piece of tubing and expand it within the exact tolerance specifications
- Cut, trim, and attach braided metal and attach to hoses
- Measure, compute and verify lengths of parts and drilling holes
- Log individual jobs into the system to track time and participate in time studies
- Place labels precisely on the product
- Watch for faulty, damaged, or nicked materials or packages to ensure the Quality Policy and Objectives are being met
- Notify lead when assembly/component inventory supplies are low
- Communicate with co-workers in a positive, business-like manner Requirements for
Assembly:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Able to stand for extended periods of time; shift duration 8 to 10 hours
- Able to bend, turn and reach throughout shift
- Able to lift up to 20 pounds regularly, and up to 35-50 lbs occasionally
- Able to work weekend and overtime hours as needed
- Accurate counting and basic math skills
- Able to work with hand tools, cutting machines, expander machines, presses, rollers
