Job Description
Job Title:
Wiring Technician Job Description The Wiring Assembler will interpret electrical schematics to assemble and wire electrical power systems, including switchgears and panels. Candidates will utilize various hand tools for sub-pan and system assemblies. This role takes place in a production facility where repetitive tasks are expected, as assemblers will wire panels based on schematics to meet production volumes. Responsibilities Interpret electrical schematics for wiring electrical power systems. Utilize hand tools and power drills for assembly tasks. Perform sub-panel layouts, drilling, and tapping holes with minimal supervision. Wire sub-pans, door devices, and other power equipment under supervision. Execute wiring using wire way and loom, and demonstrate free-bundling techniques. Wire simple relay circuits and perform daisy chaining with minimal supervision. Conduct mechanical assembly on switchgear/switchboards. Mount pertinent equipment and perform any other assigned duties. Wire and route harnesses neatly with or without wire loom according to standards. Understand and differentiate between A/C and D/C voltages. Crimp wires and utilize hardware such as screws, bolts, nuts, and washers. Essential Skills Assembly experience with hand tools and power drills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics. Experience in electrical assembly and control panel wiring. Proficiency in point-to-point wiring and mounting. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Electrical assembling experience is preferred. Experience with point-to-point wiring. Contractors will work at benches wiring panels and switchgears in a spacious setting. Comfortable clothing is permitted, and all necessary tools will be provided. The shift is a 4-day work week from Monday to Thursday, 5 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with optional overtime available on Fridays from 5 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out ofALPHARETTA, GA.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
