In this role, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and systems with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to the production of high-quality equipment, ensuring all assemblies meet strict specifications and safety standards. Duties Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble mechanical components. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and shop math skills to verify dimensions and tolerances. Operate power tools, pneumatic tools, hand tools, and specialized industrial equipment safely and effectively during assembly processes. Conduct manual handling of parts and assemblies, ensuring proper positioning and secure fastening according to manufacturing protocols. Follow production documents and assembly instructions meticulously to ensure consistency and quality in every product. Perform machining tasks as needed, including minor adjustments or modifications to components for proper fit. Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to all personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements and safety procedures. Requirements Proven experience with mechanical assembly in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. Strong ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics for accurate assembly. Proficiency with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools. Familiarity with shop math concepts necessary for measurements and calculations during assembly. Knowledge of mechanical systems, manufacturing processes, and industrial tools including soldering equipment and machining tools. Ability to interpret technical documents and follow detailed instructions precisely. Experience with pneumatic tools, power tools, hand tools, and specialized industrial equipment is highly desirable. Good manual dexterity combined with manual handling skills for assembling small or intricate parts.
