In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) electromechanical systems, probes, and components. Your current experience and desire to continually learn new concepts and skills will help Cobra Scientific's production of high-quality NDT products. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your capabilities in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence and continuous improvement. NDT or ultrasonic experience is helpful, but not required. Duties Assemble ultrasonic probes and accessories. Conduct testing of NDT probes during the assembly process. Interpret mechanical drawings. Use ohmmeters to verify electrical resistance during assembly and testing phases of assemblies and assembly components. Perform mechanical inspection of manufacturing components using precision calipers. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspection reports. Requirements Willingness to learn new skills in NDT manufacturing. Ability to use a PC for documentation and testing Ability to read assembly instructions accurately. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, calipers, ohmmeters, and other precision measurement devices. Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of machining processes and mechanical assembly practices. Experience working in manufacturing environments adhering to company policy and safety standards. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met consistently. Electrical experience is desireable but not required.
