$22.00/hr Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to join a manufacturing team on 1st shift. This role is responsible for assembling and testing mechanical components and products while maintaining high quality and production standards. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, experience using hand and power tools, and the ability to read and follow blueprints and assembly instructions. Key Responsibilities Perform mechanical assembly and testing of components and finished products Use hand tools, power tools, assembly fixtures, measuring instruments, and test equipment Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, assembly instructions, route sheets, and test specifications Inspect assemblies and completed products to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications Record test and inspection results accurately using required documentation and systems Perform basic touch-up or surface finishing tasks, including paint preparation and cleaning of parts when required Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment Follow all manufacturing procedures, safety policies, and quality standards Assist with additional production and assembly tasks as assigned

QualificationsRequired:

0-1 year of mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or production experience Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively Ability to read and understand blueprints, assembly drawings, and work instructions Basic math, computer, and documentation skills Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred:

Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or industrial assembly environments Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles Experience using measuring or inspection equipment Basic painting or finishing experience

Pay:

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Do you have experience performing product inspection or testing in a production environment? Are you comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while meeting quality standards? Do you have experience using measuring or inspection tools such as calipers, gauges, or micrometers? Have you previously worked in an aerospace, medical device, electronics, or precision manufacturing environment? Are you comfortable working in a contract role for approximately 6 months? Do you have basic computer skills for production documentation and data entry? Are you available to work 1st Shift from 5:30 AM to 1:30 PM? Are you able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs as required?
