Northrop Grumman's Defense Systems, Advanced Weapons in Northridge, CA is currently seeking an Assembler 4 to join our team supporting our AARGM ER and SiAW programs. This position is on-site only. Relocation is not available for this role. Must be available to work 2nd shift. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working in a team environment, can perform tasks in mechanical assembly, using torque tools and wiring. The qualified candidate must be an experienced assembler able to troubleshoot, test, and assemble intricate mechanical systems based on technical drawings and schematics. The chosen candidate will need to successfully complete in-house workmanship criteria training classes for continued employment. Basic Qualifications Assembler 3: High School diploma or GED with 4+ years of assembly or electronic experience Ability to perform tasks from written directions and drawings. Demonstrated high level of attention to detail and quality. Ability to flex between job responsibilities based on business demand. Ability to perform manufacturing / assembly tasks, at a high level, in a metric-based work environment. Ability to move objects weighing up to 10 pounds from one location to another and wear basic PPE. Basic computer skills including experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to obtain a Secret clearance Basic Qualifications Assembler 4: High School diploma or GED with 6+ years of assembly or electronic experience Ability to perform tasks from written directions and drawings. Demonstrated high level of attention to detail and quality. Ability to flex between job responsibilities based on business demand. Ability to perform manufacturing / assembly tasks, at a high level, in a metric-based work environment. Ability to move objects weighing up to 10 pounds from one location to another and wear basic PPE. Basic computer skills including experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Primary Level Salary Range:
$51,400.00 - $85,600.00
Secondary Level Salary Range:
$61,100.00 - $101,800.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
