Job Description

Metal Fabricator / Machine Operator ( 3 Openings) Press Brake | Shear | Roll Forming Job Summary Galleher Industries is seeking experienced Metal Fabricators / Machine Operators to join our manufacturing team. We are looking for candidates with hands-on experience operating press brakes, metal shears, roll forming equipment, or similar metal fabrication machinery. Candidates do not need experience with every machine listed; however, previous experience independently operating and setting up metal fabrication equipment is strongly preferred. This is a hands-on manufacturing position requiring strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, quality, and production efficiency. Experience with press brake, shear, or roll forming equipment is highly desired. Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and adjust metal fabrication machinery based on experience and production needs.
  • Operate equipment including press brakes, metal shears, roll formers, punch machines, saws, and other metal shop equipment as needed.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, job travelers, cut sheets, and other production documentation.
  • Determine proper machine setup, tooling, material positioning, and production requirements.
  • Perform machine adjustments and changeovers as required.
  • Use precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, gauges, dial indicators, and tape measures.
  • Inspect finished components to verify dimensional accuracy and quality.
  • Monitor equipment during operation and make adjustments necessary to maintain quality and production efficiency.
  • Perform routine maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and minor machine adjustments.
  • Safely handle raw materials and finished components.
  • Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment as needed.
  • Document production activity and quality checks accurately.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow established safety procedures and wear required PPE.
  • Assist with other fabrication and production responsibilities based on workflow and business needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in a metal fabrication, machine operation, or manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on experience with press brakes, metal shears, roll forming equipment, or similar metal fabrication machinery strongly preferred.
  • Machine setup experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, cut sheets, and process documentation.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong basic math and precision measurement skills.
  • Experience using micrometers, calipers, gauges, tape measures, or similar measuring tools.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Dependable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a manufacturing team.
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting up to 75 pounds and standing for extended periods.
Schedule Full-time | Day Shift | Monday through Friday Opportunity for extended weekday hours and occasional Saturdays based on production and business needs.
Compensation Starting Pay:
