The role includes building, assembling, and repairing of complex automated and standalone machines used in the fire sprinkler and plumbing industries
Shift:
07:00AM - 3:30PM; Monday - Friday. Overtime will be available depending on the needs of the business.
Responsibilities:
Builds,fit and assemble machinery components according to assemble blueprints, manuals, engineering memos, sketches and knowledge of machine construction to construct, rebuild, and repair machines. Inspect and measure machine parts to detect wear, misalignment or other problems. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems with precision and care. Operate the machine to verify functionality, machine capability and conformance to the customer's specification. Clean, repair, and lubricates machinery, tools and equipment. Communicate with various departments quality, shipping, and value added relative to product quality issues and availability of material for further processing or shipping. Provide status updates to management on assigned projects Other duties may be assigned to support the needs of the business What You'll Bring 2+ years of proven experience in assembly of custom automated machinery, as well as the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues, report, repair and/or correct the issues with minimal supervision. Ability to read & interpret engineering drawings, mechanical drawings, manuals, electrical schematics, and hydraulic schematics. Familiar with basic hand tools, basic measuring tools (Vernier, micrometers, surface gauge etc.) to tolerances of .001", and machine shop equipment (welders/lathe/mill/surface grinder/drill press/metalworking equipment/power tools) Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and mechanical troubleshooting techniques to be able to field wire electrical, and hydraulic control systems. Complete high voltage and 3 phase electrical repairs and start ups. Must be a self-starter, team player, work well with others, and have a positive attitude. Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and stand for shift. Good communication skills
Pay:
$24.00 - $30.00 per hour
