Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler to assemble mechanical products and gearboxes according to specifications, blueprints, work instructions, and production requirements. This position requires good mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and experience using hand tools, measuring equipment, and hydraulic presses. Responsibilities Assemble mechanical products and gearboxes according to specifications and work instructions Use hand tools, measuring equipment, and hydraulic presses to complete assemblies Read and follow blueprints, work instructions, production orders, Bills of Materials (BOMs), pick tickets, schematics, and technical instructions Inspect components and identify and separate defective parts Use test bench equipment to test completed gearboxes Troubleshoot assembly and product issues Package completed gearboxes and report finished materials Accurately scan the start and completion of work activities Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Communicate production or quality concerns to supervisors Assist with training other team members as needed Recommend opportunities to improve assembly processes Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Technical or vocational training is a plus Mechanical aptitude and basic technical knowledge Ability to read blueprints, BOMs, schematics, and diagrams Experience using hand tools and measuring equipment Ability to read and write in English Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures Good organizational and time-management skills Ability to work effectively with supervisors and team members Strong verbal and written communication skills •Pre-employment drug screen and background check is required. Pay:
$19.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
