Provisur builds precision-engineered food processing equipment used by manufacturers worldwide, including defrosting, grinding, mixing, separating, forming, and slicing systems. Our Mechanical Assemblers build, test, and troubleshoot these machines from assembly prints and technical schematics before they ship. This role is built for someone with 2+ years of hands-on mechanical assembly experience and the ability to read hydraulic/pneumatic schematics. What You'll Need High school diploma or equivalent 2-4 years of mechanical and/or electro-mechanical assembly experience Ability to read hydraulic and pneumatic schematics and mechanical assembly drawings Hands-on experience with torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, and Loctite Machine shop or electrical schematic experience is a strong plus What You'll Do Assemble Provisur/Formax machines and peripheral equipment from assembly prints and schematics Test and troubleshoot completed units against performance specifications Complete assembly checklists and conduct final inspections Submit equipment improvement observations to Engineering What You'll Enjoy Pay based on experience: $27/hr at 2 years of qualifying experience, up to $30/hr at 4+ years with demonstrated schematic proficiency Health insurance, paid holidays, PTO, 401(k), employee referral bonuses, and pet insurance Promote-from-within culture with real cross-training and skill development Stable, long-term employment at a global OEM if you have the mechanical assembly background and want to build equipment that ships to food processing lines worldwide. Pay Range The range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for this position at the time of posting.
