Job Duties Receiving product from trucks using a hand pallet jack and/or powered pallet jacks Breaking down pallets for manufacturing assembly and building up pallets with product for customer shipments with heavy boxes/products Willingly learns new duties and skills Assemble a variety of subassemblies used in specific industry applications as well as a finished good product Makes effective decisions during change Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Experience Requirements Experience assembling mechanical, electrical, or manufactured products using hand and power tools. Ability to read blueprints, assembly drawings, work instructions, or technical documentation. Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent attention to detail. Ability to accurately use measuring devices and maintain quality standards. Commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship, and productivity. Ability to read drawings to assemble/disassemble power conditioners and other electrical products. The Assembler will use assembly presses, hand tools, power tools and, measuring instruments, etc. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, fabrication, or mechanical assembly is preferred. Technical training, vocational education, or manufacturing coursework is beneficial. Experience working with pneumatic tools, torque tools, fixtures, or assembly equipment is beneficial. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality inspection procedures, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate strong craftsmanship, dependability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as an Electro-Mechanical Assembler. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift components, materials, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds. Manual dexterity to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment. Ability to maintain focus while performing detailed assembly work in a manufacturing environment.
