Job Description
Overview Assembly of fabricated and purchased mechanical parts to build recycling machinery. Responsibilities Requirements Ability to assemble and disassemble various components
Read blueprints, drawing, measurements and engineering parts lists to determine proper machine assembly
Safely utilize hand and power tools to aid in mechanical assembly
Use a file, grinder, sander or other tool to produce proper fit between parts
Operate a forklift and overhead crane
Ability to perform basic math skills
Ensure that all procedures are followed and documented as required Physical Requirements Heavy industrial environment with mechanical activities requiring personal protective equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: Stand for extended periods of time
