Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Mechanical Finish technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for refining and finishing mechanical components and assemblies to meet precise specifications. Your expertise will ensure that all products adhere to quality standards through meticulous measurement, inspection, and finishing processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing equipment and contribute to the production of high-quality industrial components. Responsibilities Interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand specifications and assembly requirements. Use precision measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and dial gauges to verify dimensions and ensure quality control. Set up and operate machining tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication machinery for finishing operations. Read electrical schematics and troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems involved in manufacturing processes. Perform mechanical assembly, fabrication, and metal machining tasks with accuracy and attention to detail. Adjust and calibrate CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines and programmable logic controllers for precise finishing tasks. Conduct inspections using measurement instruments to verify that finished components meet strict quality standards. Requirements Proven experience interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to manufacturing or industrial equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge including metal machining, fabrication, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, and power tools operation. Ability to read electrical schematics and program or troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Proficiency with measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, measurement gauges, and other precision measuring devices. Experience setting up machining tools and performing mechanical assembly with high accuracy. Knowledge of CNC operations, industrial equipment maintenance, and quality control procedures.
