Full Job Description Primary Duties:
Follows the necessary Safety, Health and Environmental guidelines required during the execution of activities at all times. Judges glass according to glass specification from fabrication Repairs rejects where feasible (scratches, chips, etc.) Maintains weekly Internal PPM (IPPM) and Internal Reject Cost (IRC) reports and communicates back to fabrication site for countermeasures Generates defect maps for top pareto defects and cost drivers, and reports to fabrication site to support countermeasure activity Participates in monthly reviews between customer quality ambassador, assembly quality representative, and engineer, and fabrication quality engineer to ensure the following:
IPPM & IRC
trend and improvement PDCA Specification alignment between team so as to not over or under reject material
Qualifications Desired:
Safety and Quality oriented Self-motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Participates in monthly reviews between customer quality ambassador, assembly quality representative, and engineer, and fabrication quality engineer to ensure the following:
IPPM & IRC
trend and improvement PDCA Specification alignment between team so as to not over or under reject material
Qualifications Required:
High school diploma Able to perform physical duties required by position (lift & handle glass, operate buffing wheel, and other glass tools) Must possess expert knowledge of glass specifications Computer skills required to generate reports Safety oriented.
