Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Machine Builder/Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and testing complex machinery and equipment according to detailed technical drawings and specifications. Your expertise will ensure that each machine is built with precision, quality, and efficiency, contributing directly to our production goals. Responsibilities Interpret and follow mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to assemble machinery accurately. Use hand tools, power tools, and machining tools to assemble components and systems. Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams to install electrical components and troubleshoot electrical systems. Set up machining tools such as saws, lathes, or mills, for metal fabrication and component manufacturing. Install pneumatic systems, ensuring proper connections and functionality. Interpret production documents including bills of materials (BOMs), work orders, and process instructions for efficient assembly. Conduct testing of assembled machines to verify operational performance and safety standards before final delivery. Collaborate with engineering teams during troubleshooting or when modifications are required during assembly. Maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering to safety protocols at all times. Experience Proven experience in mechanical assembly or machine building within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading—including mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings—and interpreting technical documentation. Electrical experience including reading electrical schematics and wiring components safely. Hands-on experience with pneumatic systems, hydraulics, and metal machining processes. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and machining tools efficiently. Mechanical knowledge of assembly procedures combined with an understanding of manufacturing standards. Experience working with production documents like bills of materials (BOMs), work instructions, or process sheets is preferred.
