Compensation:

$21/hr.

Hours:

1st shift, 7am-3:30pm, including overtime opportunities Candidates with a background in mechanical assembly are preferred. Role Summary This position involves putting together fabricated components at designated workstations, alongside testing and calibrating mechanisms to verify they align with necessary tolerances and product standards. You will utilize various hand and power tools to build units following set protocols, while also diagnosing and fixing any components that fail to meet quality benchmarks. Core Duties Construct and verify components and final products to help ensure they meet all engineering and product specifications. Examine items to confirm they align with established quality benchmarks. Detect, analyze, and fix units that fall outside of required tolerance or testing parameters. Help maintain a tidy, structured, and secure workspace for the entire team. Adhere to all established safety, quality, and operational protocols. Record production data precisely and keep necessary logs updated. Requirements A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Completion of an apprenticeship or specialized training in the relevant field may be requested. Typically requires 2-4 years of relevant industry experience. Possess a functional understanding of standard field concepts, practices, and procedures. Demonstrate the ability to execute tasks according to provided instructions and guidelines. Work under direct supervision with minimal requirement for independent decision-making. Report directly to a manager or supervisor. Physical and Operational Environment The position requires the ability to lift more than 30 pounds and perform frequent repetitive lifting. You should anticipate potential exposure to machinery, chemicals, biological materials, or other standard physical workplace hazards.
