Competitive package + super Senior Accountant opportunity specialising in Personal Tax, working with a diverse portfolio including high-net-worth individuals and more complex tax matters. Highly client-facing role - build strong relationships, work directly with individuals and help identify opportunities to improve their overall financial position. We're currently looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join the Personal Tax team of a well-established accounting and advisory firm. The firm has a strong reputation in the market and offers a collaborative, supportive environment with a genuine focus on professional development. You'll join an established Personal Tax team managing a significant client base, including a number of high-net-worth individuals with more complex taxation requirements. The Role Manage tax and compliance matters for a diverse portfolio of individual clients, including high-net-worth individuals and clients with more complex requirements Work closely with clients to understand their individual circumstances, identify their needs and help improve their overall financial position Prepare and review individual income tax returns and provide support across a broad range of Personal Tax matters Build strong working relationships with existing and new clients, becoming a trusted point of contact for their taxation requirements Meet directly with clients and develop a strong understanding of their financial circumstances, goals and potential tax considerations Work alongside experienced senior accountants and internal specialists on more complex client matters Support and mentor other accountants within the team, providing technical guidance and helping with their ongoing development Contribute to the continued development of an already established client base and maintain a high standard of client service Take on greater client responsibility as you develop, with strong opportunities to build your technical and relationship management skills About You 3+ years' experience within an Australian accounting firm, ideally with good exposure to Personal Tax Strong knowledge across a broad range of Australian taxation matters relating specifically to individuals Experience preparing individual income tax returns and dealing with more complex Personal Tax matters Comfortable dealing directly with clients and motivated by building long-term professional relationships Able to understand a client's circumstances, identify their needs and provide practical solutions to improve their overall position Previous experience training, mentoring or supporting other accountants Strong communication, presentation and relationship management skills Confident working with a diverse client base, including high-net-worth individuals Interested in continuing to develop your technical knowledge while taking on greater client responsibility What's on Offer Strong opportunities for career progression and increased client responsibility Professional development and ongoing technical training Mentoring and support from a highly experienced team Opportunity to work across a diverse and established client portfolio Health and wellbeing initiatives and employee benefits Regular social events and a collaborative team environment If you're looking for a role where you can build stronger client relationships, develop your Personal Tax expertise and progress within a supportive accounting firm, we'd love to hear from you.
