Micro Tech Staffing Group - 3.7 Westborough, MA Job Details Temp-to-hire | Full-time $21 - $23 an hour 4 days ago Qualifications IPC 610 Manufacturing facility experience Electrical wiring Power tools Manufacturing Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembler II to join our manufacturing team. This position involves assembling mechanical housings, systems, and hardware, including products containing printed circuit board assemblies. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with hand and pneumatic tools, reading blueprints and assembly instructions, and performing quality checks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Assemble mechanical housings, systems, and hardware Read and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, BOMs, and work instructions Use hand and power tools, including drills, torque drivers, wrenches, and screwdrivers Identify and work with hardware, wiring, sheet metal, plastic, and electronic components Integrate electronic assemblies and cables into mechanical housings Perform quality inspections and document defects Rework and repair products according to engineering specifications Maintain inventory at workstations Follow IPC, ISO, quality, safety, and 6S standards Handle moisture-sensitive components according to established requirements
Qualifications:
Previous mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience Ability to read and interpret basic drawings and technical instructions Comfortable using hand, power, and pneumatic tools Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to work with both miniature and large components Electronic manufacturing experience is a plus
IPC-A-610
training/certification is preferred or willingness to train
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30
PM Pay :
$23/hr
