Job Description/Preferred Qualifications We are seeking a highly skilled Soldering Technician with experience in precision, small-part assembly to join our team in Westwood, MA. This role is ideal for someone with exceptional manual dexterity, steady hands, and a passion for working with intricate electronic components. In this position, you will assemble, repair, and inspect high-reliability components under a microscope, ensuring strict adherence to quality standards and engineering specifications. Your work will directly impact the performance and reliability of advanced products in a clean, controlled production environment. Key Responsibilities Precision Soldering & Assembly Perform fine-pitch soldering and assembly of small mechanical and electronic components using microscopes and magnification tools, ensuring precise alignment and high-quality workmanship. Technical Interpretation Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and detailed work instructions to ensure accurate assembly and compliance with specifications. Quality Inspection & Control Inspect completed assemblies for defects, dimensional accuracy, and functionality using precision measurement tools and visual inspection techniques. Tool & Equipment Operation Utilize specialized hand tools, fixtures, and equipment designed for small-part assembly and high-precision work. Cleanroom & Workspace Standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with 5S and cleanroom protocols. Continuous Improvement Support lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, improve quality, and reduce waste. Required Qualifications Proven experience in precision soldering , micro-assembly, or electronics repair Exceptional manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling delicate, small components Ability to work effectively under a microscope or magnification tools for extended periods Experience reading and interpreting technical blueprints, schematics, and work instructions Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality, defect-free work Familiarity with precision measuring tools and inspection processes Physical Requirements Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while performing repetitive, detail-oriented tasks High level of visual acuity, including prolonged microscope use Steady hands and fine motor control for precision work Why Join Us?
