Responsibilities Assemble mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial tools according to detailed schematics and blueprints. Interpret technical drawings, manufacturing documents, and shop math to accurately complete assemblies. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to verify dimensions and ensure quality standards are met. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide assembly processes. Handle materials manually with proper safety procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly process utilizing precision measuring instruments to maintain product integrity. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues, optimize workflows, and improve overall production efficiency. Experience Proven experience in manufacturing or mechanical assembly environments preferred. Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints is essential. Hands-on experience using calipers, micrometers, shop math, and other precision measuring instruments. Knowledge of mechanical blueprint interpretation and assembly techniques. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and soldering equipment safely and effectively. Strong understanding of safety protocols including proper PPE use during manual handling and assembly tasks. Basic machining skills or experience working with manufacturing processes is a plus.
