Mechanical Assemblers

Nesco Resource is searching for mechanical assemblers to join the build team with one of our long-term clients in the Clarkston area that manufactures specialized equipment using pre-engineered aluminum profiles and industrial controls and components. This shift runs from 6 AM to 2:30 PM Monday through Friday, with overtime sometimes on Saturday.

Responsibilities:

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and other specifications through the interpretation of engineering drawings Proficiently assemble, fit, and install prefabricated parts and sub-assemblies to form completed systems (including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic). Lead/assist in troubleshooting of job tasks and projects. Proceed through levels of expertise and knowledge of modular aluminum technology manufacturing processes.

Skills & Traits:

Ability to follow instructions to build various types of assembly projects Ability to assist in diagnosing, communicating, and resolving build assembly project deficiencies and problems. Print reading skills include the ability to interpret print specifications such as material, dimensions, tolerances, notes, multiple-part views, etc. Ability to select and use the appropriate tools needed to perform various types of work tasks. Ability to work collaboratively across the organization, with employees at all levels. Motivated individual who enjoys fast-paced and dynamic work setting Organized and detail-oriented.
