Job Title:

Mechanical Assembler Job Description Join our team as a Mechanical Assembler in a clean and quiet manufacturing facility. You will be working in the AC/DC department primarily during 1st shift hours, with potential overtime on Fridays as needed. This role involves assembling solar panel power boxes and switchboards, ensuring quality and efficiency in a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Assemble panel boxes, switchboards, and power boxes using hand tools, air power tools, and torque wrenches. Read blueprints to determine assembly instructions and parts placement. Pull and spool wire as part of the assembly process. Work collaboratively on the assembly line, focusing on wire spooling and manual assembly tasks. Assemble 64 panels per day once trained and up to speed. Essential Skills Mechanical assembly experience. Proficiency in reading blueprints and print reading. Skill in using hand tools and power tools. Ability to read a tape measure accurately. Capability to lift up to 40 lbs. Additional Skills & Qualifications Operator or Over Mold experience is preferred. Entry-level knowledge in assembly is welcomed. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Walker, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
