•Shift schedule: 4:15pm - 2:45am (Monday-Friday) We are seeking an
AFTERNOON SHIFT
Machine Operator/Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating various industrial equipment, assembling components, and ensuring the production of high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be reliable and most importantly, have a commitment to safety and precision. Responsibilities Assemble components using hand tools, robotic systems, and other industrial equipment, ensuring accuracy in alignment and fit Pack parts according to packaging specifications Conduct quality inspections utilizing dimensional measurements and precision measuring instruments to verify product specifications meet standards. Handle materials safely using forklifts and material handling equipment within warehouse and production areas Follow detailed work instructions, safety guidelines, and quality control procedures throughout the manufacturing process. Work with team members to improve operational efficiency, communicating effectively and escalating downtime concerns per procedure Maintain a clean, organized workspace. Housekeeping is part of our safety procedures! Ability to do basic math required for reporting production numbers, calculating scrap and packaging counts. Must be able to work at a steady pace throughout the shift Experience Prior work in a manufacturing environment (metals experience preferred) Experience with materials handling using forklifts or warehouse management systems is preferred. Mechanical aptitude complemented by basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Ability to utilize hand tools effectively for assembly tasks and perform precise measurements for quality control. $16.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
