Job Title:

Mechanical Assembler-$19/hr Job Description This role focuses on upfitting and assembling Ford F-150 and U-Haul trucks in a modern, climate-controlled facility. You will read and interpret blueprints, use a variety of hand and power tools, and follow daily instructions to complete mechanical assembly and upfitting tasks accurately and safely. Responsibilities Perform mechanical assembly and upfitting on Ford F-150 trucks and U-Haul trucks according to project specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to guide assembly and installation work. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete mechanical tasks and installations. Follow day-to-day instructions from supervisors and team leads to meet production goals and quality standards. Inspect completed work to ensure proper fit, function, and adherence to mechanical and safety requirements. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools and equipment, to support efficient workflow. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot mechanical issues and resolve assembly challenges. Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines while working with mechanical components, tools, and equipment. Essential Skills Hands-on experience with mechanical upfitting or mechanical assembly work. Ability to read and understand blueprints and basic mechanical drawings. Proficiency using common hand tools and power tools in a workshop or automotive environment. Experience working on personal vehicles, farm equipment, or similar mechanical systems. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adapt to changing daily priorities. Basic mechanical aptitude gained through work as a mechanic, upfitter, lube technician, farmer, farm hand, automotive worker, or assembler. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in automotive repair, maintenance, or assembly is highly beneficial. Experience in farming or farm hand work that involved maintaining or repairing equipment. Comfort working independently as well as in a team-oriented production environment. Willingness to learn new mechanical processes and upfitting techniques. Reliability and strong work ethic suitable for a contract-to-hire opportunity. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Liberty, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
