Machine Operator:

Configure, calibrate, and run metal bending machinery and roll-forming equipment according to production schedules and blueprint specifications. Load raw sheet metal coils and metal components into machinery, securing materials using alignment fixtures and stops. Perform quality checks on completed metal parts using rulers, templates, and gauges to verify accurate dimensions and identify defects. Make precise adjustments to machine speeds, tooling, punches, and dies using standard hand tools to maintain product quality. Safely maneuver raw materials and finished door products across the shop floor using overhead cranes. Monitor live machine operations to prevent material jams, maintain accurate operational logs, and report scrap counts. Preferred Candidate:

1 to 2 years of hands-on experience setting up and operating metal fabrication or machine shop equipment. Ability to read work orders, production schedules, and basic technical blueprints. Proficiency with standard measuring tools, gauges, and manual hand tools. Experience operating or willingness to learn overhead crane operation. Solid basic math, reading, and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
