Overview Robotunits Inc., located in Cranbury, NJ is a global manufacturer of Mechanical Automation Components such as Conveyors, Linear Motion Units, Machine Frames, Panels & Guardings. Your expertise in interpreting technical drawings, using measuring instruments, and handling specialized tools will directly contribute to the production of high-quality equipment. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide assembly processes Ability to use and read a metric tape measure (millimeters) is a must Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and shop math techniques to ensure components meet specifications Assemble mechanical parts utilizing hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial equipment Conduct quality checks using measuring instruments and visual inspections to verify accuracy and adherence to production standards Follow safety protocols by properly using personal protective equipment (PPE) and handling tools safely during assembly tasks Interpret production documents and assembly instructions to maintain consistency and efficiency in manufacturing processes Assist in machining or soldering tasks as needed to complete assemblies or repair components Requirements Proven experience with mechanical assembly, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings Proficiency in using calipers, millimeters, measuring instruments, and shop math for precise measurements Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial tools used in manufacturing environments Strong mechanical knowledge including understanding of machining processes and mechanical blueprint interpretation Ability to manually handle parts safely while adhering to safety standards and PPE use guidelines Experience with soldering or other electrical/mechanical joining techniques is a plus Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately Join us if you're passionate about manufacturing excellence! Pay:
$21.00 - $22.00 per hour
